  • Safe Handling and Environmental Conditions: Customers should handle live poultry with care, ensuring proper hygiene practices to prevent the spread of disease. On Time Delivery Guarantee

At Hatch Labs Hatchery, we are committed to ensuring that your order arrives promptly and in good condition. Our “On Time Delivery Guarantee” reflects our dedication to providing reliable service to our customers. Please review the following terms and conditions of our guarantee:

  1. Delivery Timeframe: We guarantee that you will receive your order within 1-3 days after its ship date. All orders are shipped through USPS Priority shipping for timely delivery.
  2. Delivery Method: Please note that the birds will NOT be delivered directly to your house.
  3. Notification Process: Once your order is available for pickup at your local post office, the post office will contact you at the phone number provided during checkout. It is essential to provide accurate contact information to ensure smooth communication regarding the availability of your chicks.
  4. DOA Chicks: In the unfortunate event that any chicks are lost during the shipping process, customers can file a claim for reimbursement through the USPS. We understand the disappointment and inconvenience this may cause and strive to mitigate such occurrences by including extra chicks whenever possible. However, please note that extra chicks are not guaranteed with your order.
  5. Responsibility: While we make every effort to ensure timely and safe delivery, please understand that once the order is in the possession of USPS, we are no longer liable for any delays, damages, or losses that may occur during transit. We recommend tracking your shipment and promptly addressing any concerns with the postal service.


Vitality Not Guaranteed After Safe and Timely Delivery Policy

  1. Refund and Replacement Policy: Once your poultry has arrived safely and in a timely manner, we are unable to provide refunds or replacements. Our policy for replacements or refunds is applicable only in cases where the USPS causes unsafe conditions or unusually prolonged shipping times. Any concerns regarding the condition of your poultry upon delivery must be reported immediately for assessment.
  • Buyer’s Responsibility: Please be aware that purchasing live poultry entails inherent risks in successfully raising them. As such, it is essential for buyers to acknowledge and accept these risks. The vitality and well-being of the poultry post-delivery are beyond our control, and we cannot guarantee their continued health or survival.
  • Immediate Reporting: Any instances of unsafe conditions or exceptionally long shipping durations caused by USPS must be reported without delay to be considered for our replacement or refund policy. Timely communication allows us to address concerns promptly and appropriately.

Our hatching eggs are carefully selected and should be fertile, but we cannot guarantee hatch rates due to factors beyond our control, such as handling during shipping and incubation conditions.

Reserved Ship Date May Change Policy

  1. Forecasting Challenges: In our industry, accurate forecasting is crucial, but unforeseen circumstances can occasionally impact our ability to meet scheduled ship dates. Despite our best efforts, factors such as equipment failures, weather-related flight cancellations, or issues with USPS delivery may arise, leading to necessary adjustments in our shipping schedule.
  • Re-scheduling Your Ship Date: In the event of unforeseen challenges, we reserve the right to re-schedule your ship date to ensure the safe and timely delivery of your poultry order.
