Hatch Labs is a venture studio that builds and acquires web and mobile applications in the consumer space. We take products from idea to scale — or acquire ones that are already working and make them better.
Get in TouchHatch Labs Holdings LLC is a venture studio headquartered in Austin, Texas. We build consumer web and mobile applications from the ground up, and we acquire existing apps with strong fundamentals and room to grow.
Our focus areas include dating and relationships, social networking, personal finance, and health and wellness — categories where better technology and verified data create meaningfully better products.
Founded by Amanda Bradford, who previously built The League — a dating app that grew to over 2 million users across 155 cities before being acquired by Match Group — Hatch Labs brings a founder-operator's perspective to every product we touch.
We are a registered Delaware LLC with offices in Austin, TX. We partner with Plaid, Apple, Google, and Amazon to bring our products to market. Our team combines deep product expertise with data-driven decision making and lean operations.
Three core activities drive our business.
We develop consumer web and mobile applications from concept through App Store launch. Our engineering team handles iOS, Android, and web — from UX design and prototyping to backend infrastructure, API integrations, and production deployment.
We acquire existing mobile apps and SaaS products with established user bases and proven revenue. We look for strong retention metrics, clear monetization, and untapped potential that our operational playbook can unlock.
We apply a shared infrastructure layer across our portfolio — identity verification, payment processing, analytics, growth marketing, and compliance — to scale each product efficiently without duplicating effort.
A selection of products we've built, acquired, or are actively developing.
A verified financial compatibility platform for high-net-worth individuals. Uses Plaid-verified income and asset data to match users based on real financial profiles, not self-reported information.
An AI-powered social experiment and dating concept that uses generative video to create engaging, personality-driven matching experiences. Blurs the line between human and AI interaction.
A content platform and blog exploring entrepreneurship, dating, feminism, and the founder journey. Features essays, podcast appearances, and original writing from our founder.
An admissions-based dating app for ambitious professionals. Grew to 2M+ applicants, 155 cities, $16M revenue, and was acquired by Match Group (NASDAQ: MTCH) in 2022.
Our process for taking products from zero to market.
We analyze market gaps in the consumer space using proprietary data, user research, and competitive intelligence.
We test concepts rapidly with real users — landing pages, prototypes, and beta cohorts before committing to full development.
Our engineering team ships production-quality iOS, Android, and web apps using modern frameworks and our shared infrastructure layer.
We optimize for retention, monetization, and growth. Every product benefits from our portfolio-wide analytics and marketing engine.
